On the morning of May 20, a delegation of Australia Newcastle University headed by Mr. Tommy Lin, who is in charge of the university's affairs in China, visited SJZU at SJZU's invitation. Visitors attended a meeting with Vice-President Li Yupeng accompanied by the heads of the International Exchange & Cooperation Department. Both sides reached a consensus on carrying out in-depth academic exchanges and project cooperation in the common fields of architecture, urban and rural planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering and mechanical engineering, and initiating higher-level exchanges of faculty and students. The two sides also agreed to take this visit as an opportunity to push forward the multiparty cooperation (led by SJZU) of the International Cooperation Committee of China Association of Construction Education and clarify the direction and focus of the cooperation in the future.
