On the afternoon of June 22, the 2019 Commencement Ceremony of the China-U.S. Management Information Systems (MIS) Master Program and the Founding Conference of the Alumni Association of Benedictine University Programs were held at the Student Activity Center in SJZU. SJZU Party Committee Secretary Dong Yukuan, President Yan Weidong, Vice-President Li Yupeng, President of the Alumni Association Chen Ruisan, Vice-President of the Benedictine University Marco Masini, and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shenyang University of Technology Li Yingmin attended the conference. The faculty of Benedictine University, the heads from the School of Information and Control Engineering, the Graduate School, the Alumni Association, the Logistics Group, and the International Exchange & Cooperation Department of SJZU and some teaching staff participated in the event. More than 400 people were here to attend the conference, including all 2017 graduates and 2018 current students of the SJZU China-U.S. MIS Master Program, faculty and alumni of the China-U.S. cooperative education programs of the Shenyang University of Technology and Dalian Medical University and representatives of their families.
Since 2005, our school has developed the China-U.S. MIS Master Program with the Benedictine University. In the past 14 years, the program has trained a total of 329 cadres at all levels for the Organization Department of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and 688 trainees for all walks of life. The program has seen many achievements and received approval from all circles. In 2019, 80 students from the Benedictine program graduated as scheduled.
