On October 2 & 3, the local time of central American, the responsible person of the International Exchange & Cooperation Department of SJZU visited University of Evansville. During the visit, representing the university leaders, Wang Xing conveyed the heartfelt greetings to the teachers and students at University of Evansville.

Wang Xing visited President Dr. Chris Pizevich, Vice-President Prof. Michael Austin, Dean of Engineering college Prof. Ying Shang, Dean of Arts and Science college Prof. Ray Laggin, Dean of Management college Dr. Ben Johnson and Dean of Educational college Prof. Mary Kessler. Both sides discussed things related to exchanges of teachers and students. University of Evansville welcomed SJZU to offer Chinese courses that enable more American students to know Chinese culture. At the same time, the university also welcomed teachers from SJZU to have academic exchanges for half a year or a whole year. After negotiation, University of Evansville agreed to offer 20,000 dollars per exchange student per year and provided a paid job position on campus. Starting from Jan. 2020, SJZU will select 10 to 15 excellent undergraduates and postgraduates to study at University of Evansville.

The leaders in SJZU highly emphasized the students' overseas exchanges work. As an important part of university international education, the amount of overseas exchange students is an important indicator to measure university international education. From now on, the International Exchange & Cooperation Department will enhance students' overseas dispatch and provided a series of overseas exchange projects with excellent academic, reasonable tuition and flexible and multiple English examinations. Thanks to that, a great number of students at school will have more choices and options to study overseas for exchanges. SJZU also encouraged more students to go aboard and experience different culture and education.
