On November 1, Japan Foundation Overseas Tour Exhibition — Japanese Architecture Picture Exhibition was held in the Architecture Museum of Shenyang Jianzhu University (SJZU). This exhibition was sponsored by the Consulate General of Japan in Shenyang and Japan Foundation, and it was co-organized by Liaoning China-Japan Friendship Association, Liaoning University-Enterprise Alliance of Pension Architectural Engineering and Service Industry. Yan Weidong, President of SJZU, Li Yupeng, Vice-President of SJZU, Sugita Masahiko, Chief Consul of Consulate General of Japan in Shenyang, Chen Tiecheng, Honorary President of Liaoning China-Japan Friendship Association, Yokochi Hideki, Cultural Consul of Consulate General of Japan in Shenyang, Zaitsu Yuuki, Vice-Consul, Zaitsu Yuuki, Assistant Director of Beijing Japanese Culture Center of Japan Foundation, and Wang Zijiang, Deputy Secretary General of Shenyang People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition. Representatives from Liaoning Foreign Affairs Office, Shenyang Foreign Affairs Office, Liaoning TV station, a number of international travel agencies in Liaoning Province and over 100 teachers and students of SJZU attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Li Yupeng. The heads of SJZU's International Exchange & Cooperation Department and the Pension Industry Architecture Information Research Institute attended the opening ceremony.
The exhibition period is from November 1 to 23. It selected more than 80 pictures and text descriptions of the famous classical buildings, private residences, office buildings, concert halls, landscape, gardens, and environmental protection facilities in 47 prefectures of Japan, which show the unique beauty of different cities and places in Japan.
